✍ - Story from your childhood.
When I was in 5th grade I went through my “horse girl” phase, where I incessantly begged my parents for a horse (regardless of the fact that our backyard is tiny). I read every single horse related book in the library, could spew horse facts left and right, and dreamed horses.
(they never bought me a horse…)
® - Favorite foods?
I like pretty much any Russian food that doesn’t contain fish. I also like shepherd’s pie (probably my favorite dish-super delicious and simple to make). I also love ham, beef, and chicken because I’m a compete carnivore. And I love kiwis, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, grapes, and pears. My diet’s pretty healthy aside from the fact that I don’t eat any green vegetables except for cucumbers.
Anonymous asked: What are Latvia and Estonia like? I want to visit them but I'm not sure what to see and I've never met anyone from there
I’m so upset because I typed out such a nice response but tumblr decided not to publish it. :/ So here it goes again:
Latvia:
I was born and raised (until I was 7) in Riga, Latvia so I’m obviously going to have a biased opinion lol. It’s truly my home away from home and I go back to visit every few summers. The last time I was there was 2 summers ago. In the capitol (Riga) it’s incredibly easy to get around due to everyone taking public transportation, and since it’s a relatively small city, so many things are walking distance. I especially love Old Riga- the historical part of the city with cobble stone paths, tiny alleys, outdoor cafes, and an old church with a huge organ inside (I got to hear an organ concert there!!). Riga also has a huge outdoor market where you can find anything from fresh vegetables to souvenirs and cheap clothes. There are also some pretty cool clubs and bars in Old Riga. The Baltic Sea is only a 30ish minute train ride away from Riga. Latvia also has very dense forests, like nothing I’ve ever seen in the US. In the summer, many people live in “dachas” or cottages. I got to stay in one for a few nights and it was so relaxing, not having any technology to worry about. We picked blueberries in the woods, biked to the sea, barbecued, and sat by a fireplace. I miss it so so much. Also, the national language is Latvian but a lot of people speak Russian and most of the youth speaks fairly decent English. Feel free to look through my Latvia tag.

Estonia:
I don’t have as much to say about Estonia because I went there only once, and it was a bus trip to a female monastery in the middle of nowhere. It was really interesting to see how self-sustaining they are, they produce their own crops and clothes. I don’t think Latvia and Estonia are radically different because they’re both Baltic states (along with Lithuania). Here’s the monastery we visited:

☝ - How tall are you?
I’m 5 ft. 7 1/2 in.
✏ - Random fact about yourself.
I’ve been to 7 countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Russia).
Thanks for the questions!

✖ - Age you get mistaken for
Most people think that I look the age that I am, 20.
✌ - Want any piercings?
There was a time where I toyed with the idea of nipple piercings but I’ve decided against that. I think I’m happy with the piercings I have at the moment. Plus I don’t have many piercing options because my mom is very much against that and I already pushed the envelope my getting my belly button pierced.
♔ - Top 5 favorite bands?
I actually listen to mostly individual singers or djs and my taste in music changes as quickly as I change my socks but here are 5 that I’ve loved for a while:
- Matt Kearney
- Imagine Dragons
- Of Monsters & Men
- The Cinema
- The Postal Service
✏ - Random fact about yourself.
I can’t eat any cooked vegetables, only raw.
Thanks for the questions. :)
Anonymous asked: what are shrooms like?
It’s extremely subjective. If you’re in a comfortable setting with someone who’s tripped before and are in a good mood beforehand, it can be an extremely positive experience that opens doors in your mind that you were never even aware of. What you think about/realize depends on what is important to you in your life. Since I’m very people, art, and music based my experience made me realize how everything is connected through sound and music. And I love nature so much more now. It’s difficult to explain. I’ll probably make a longer and more detailed post once I trip again. Some people experience visuals like melting faces and breathing walls. My visuals weren’t too heavy because I split half a shroom chocolate with a friend.
On the other hand, shrooms can also give you the worst 5-7 hours of your life if you’re not in a good state of mind. I highly recommend starting off with a small amount (we split an eighth) and tripping with a close friend who’s done it before so they can help you out if you start getting anxious.
Also if you’re seriously considering trying shrooms, research it first. I felt a lot more comfortable going into it because I read a ton beforehand. I like erowid because you can look up the experiences of people that tried any drug you could possibly imagine. If you have any more specific questions feel free to come off anon. :)

Anonymous asked: Do you miss anyone right now?
Always.
Anonymous asked: I though u were going 2 a big school?
Not at all, I go to a tiny liberal arts school! We have a little over 2,000 students I believe.
Anonymous asked: what is being high like?
Another question I’ve never answered.
I think it depends on how you were feeling beforehand, the strain of the weed, and what you’re smoking out of. Sometimes I feel like I’m wrapped in a cocoon of warm thoughts and an enormous fuzzy blanket. Sometimes I feel a surge of energy and creativity and run to get a notebook to jot it all down. Sometimes I go through my itunes and find each song to sound that much better than it did before. Sometimes I drift off into the coziest sleep, sometimes I do or say the strangest things (a few people can attest to that), and sometimes I just think.
Each person’s high is different. You’d have to experience it for yourself.
Anonymous asked: What is your best quality?
This has been sitting in my inbox and I’m just now getting around to answering it. This question is highly subjective but I think one of my best qualities is how much I care about people. I will go to practically any length to do something nice for someone or to cheer them up. I have sat on the phone for hours with a friend that was going through a tough breakup. I have left cute feel-better notes in a dorm room when another close friend of mine was going through a rough patch. I have bought spur of the moment flowers for my mom and grandmom, offered to give up my bed for two weeks to help out friend that got kicked out of her house, paid for the food of the people behind me at a drive through, volunteered to make crafts with special needs kids, visited sick kids at a hospital, donated blood three times and signed up to be a bone marrow donor.
I care about others much more than I care about myself. Sometimes that can also my downfall but I try to live my life while positively impacting as many people as possible. Otherwise, what’s the point?
Anonymous asked: porn spam?
Wouldn’t mind if I do.
Anonymous asked: do u want dreads?

16. Do you have any tattoos?
No, but I would really like a tattoo of a Russian nesting doll because of my heritage and a tattoo of an outline of a cat because I like cats.
21. Do you think someone has feelings for you?
lol I hope so, otherwise the past 7 months would have been a waste.
23. Do you think you can last in a relationship for 6 months and not cheat?
Surely. Never have, never will cheat.
Anonymous asked: Can you do all of them?
All 85 of them? That’s way too much. Give me a range/ask the ones you’re curious about.
firecomingbacktolife asked: ok here are some random numbers (: 5 9 15 22 28 37 41 52 59 63 71 78
Thanks for the questions!
5. Are you in love?
I’m feeling very conflicted about this matter so how about we put this question on hold until I figure it out.
9. Describe your perfect mate
There is no such thing as a “perfect mate”, I think. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and it’s all a matter of finding someone who’s character can mesh with yours. I’m still figuring out what I want from life, but I know for certain that they need to be supportive of that fact that I speak two languages and that I will do everything in my power to get my children to speak Russian as well. I’ve never been more thankful to my mom for raising me in the US yet still preserving our culture. I know so many families where the parents/parent speak Russian but the children don’t. Both my little brother and sister were born here, went to American schools since the age of 5, and yet they still speak Russian fluently. This is honestly one of my biggest goals when I look towards the future. I kind of went off on a tangent here but you get my point.
15. Do you have any piercings?
Earlobes, cartilage, second hole, bellybutton. That’s 5 piercings. I’d really like to get more but my mom isn’t into them. I didn’t tell her about my bellybutton piercing for a whole year because I was so scared of her reaction.
22. Do you think someone is thinking about you right now?
Dan and I are having a riveting discussion about dildos, so yes lol.
28. Have you ever been cheated on?
Not that I’m aware of.
37. Have you ever liked someone who your friends hated?
If you change hated to “disapproved of”, then yes.
41. Have you had sex so far this year?
I have had plenty of sex this year.
52. Is there anyone you’ve given up on? Why?
My dad’s family is extremely conservative and Republican and I’ve given up on trying to get them to see outside of their little bubble. For example: one of my uncles doesn’t believe in global warming, he thinks it’s all a hoax. My other uncle is a big fan of conspiracy theories and he believes that 9/11 was a set up by the government. They are absolutely ridiculous. I’ve given up on sharing my views with them because they’re all so hard-headed. My dad is the only Democrat out of his 8 siblings and the only rational one in my opinion I always say that I lucked out that my mom married him and not another one of my crazy uncles.
59. What do you look like? (Post a picture!)
I’ll post a picture in a separate post because this is long enough as it is.
63. What is your definition of “having sex”?
Putting the d in the v. Or an alternative: putting the d in the a.
71. What was your kinkiest wet dream?
I don’t remember my dreams, let alone sexual ones lol.
78. What’s your dirtiest secret?
That’s not for tumblr crowd to know lol.
